Does anyone have any information regarding the night club 'The Cave on the Golden Calf' it was on Heddon Street and closed in 1914. I am not sure of exact location on Heddon Street.
Thank you very much Mike that's interesting I wonder if any of the original interior design still exists. The stairwell had paintings by Wyndham Lewis.
Sounds fun Mike! Especially the ‘Wham! Obviously’ bit 😂
It’s one of our Greek Street stories!
OMG I'll have to see if I can make it!!
Yes you will! And our walk is dog friendly!
That’s all I needed to know!!
I would love to go on one of your walks, next time I'm over which may not be until 2026, so please keep them going!
Thank you! I’m sure we’ll keep them going, and will save you a place!

It was in the basement of what is now a Gordon Ramsay restaurant right on the eastern end of Heddon Street.
