Have you heard Momus’s AI album, Ballyhoo? He is very much one of Bowie’s Kooks.

He talks a bit here: https://www.leafbox.com/interview-momus-ballyhoo/amp/

Thank you very much Sharon. I’m not expecting people to agree, but hopefully encouraging folk to consider the issue a little bit differently.

So many great points and some very persuasive arguments. I also know lots of creatives using AI. I can see how it has the potential to be a powerful tool 🤠

I guess, having studied media law, what I get very angry about is the lack of data protection and copyright for writers and artists and the devaluation of craft and human talent. 👩🏼‍🌾

I hope we find a way through it. A very educational read Mike. Thanks.

Super interesting. Bowie was a visionary, his relationship with technology always fascinated me. His "Bowieworld" was practically the ancestor of the Metaverse, 20 years ahead of its time.

Very well crafted and argued. For us the real question is whether getting an assist from AI makes the craft of writing more pleasurable. After all we do it for love not money.

Thank you very much. I completely agree with you, the issue is how writing is pleasurable and how AI enhances this - or not!
